About this app

BookMark helps you find books in Swansea University's Library and Information Centre. Once you've picked your books, the app will give you a personalised map directly to the bookcase you need.

Features:
• Search for books directly from the app
• Generate custom maps straight to your items
• Scan the ISBN barcode on the back of any book to get a map of where you are in the library

BookMark is completely free, with no adverts and no unnecessary permissions.

This initial deployment will help us evaluate BookMark's capabilities and effectiveness at finding books for you. Please get in touch with your feedback to help us add features and improve your experience.

BookMark was developed as part of EPSRC research project EP/J000604/2 by Simon Robinson and Jennifer Pearson.

No longer works since the barcodes were added. Nothing happens when I scan and link to get to entrance does not work. I relied on this and now cannot find vital sources any more

Hi - I can't find any issues with the app, whether using barcode scanning or not. Please can you give some more information? (such as your phone type, and any error messages you are seeing). You can contact us directly via bookmark@swansea.ac.uk Kind regards, Simon

Just looking through R aisles. Lots of the sections have been moved but the app is directing me to the wrong place

Hi Louise - thanks for the feedback. It looks like some major book moves have taken place in this section. We'll update the app over the next few weeks and direction accuracy should be back to normal soon. Regards, Simon

It was good initially, but now it comes up with 'error' everytime I try and add a book.
