My oldmeter was better (OneTouch Verio), but it was hard to get test strips. Insurance paid for an AccuCheck meter/strips, but I couldn't link with my phone. The CareSens meter seems counterintuitive: after getting a blood sample, I must pull out the strip before bluetooth activates. But it works, so I'm OK with it. UPDATE: After an update, the app crashed, but it seems OK for now.

I like it synchronizes with Samsung Health, that was my big requirement. It records some other data points too, which is nice BUT, and this is something of a problem, it doesn't seem to sync reliably and it seems if I put in too much information it loses the value for my glucose test, which is kind of the entire purpose here. I use a CareSens N Plus and come on. . . that is the last bit of data I want to lose. Sync between the device and phone also seems to be quirky and unreliable sometimes.

I can't even set up bt. It followed the directions. Then when app instructions me, it tells me to push the right button and hold it down. There is no right button. Then it says to choose 1 or 2. That doesn't appear on my meter. So I chose a random one..then the app says to enter in code that appear. No code appeared. I doubled check that I selected the right meter. Still I can't pair the bt. It's should be simple. I'm tech saavy but this is just bad software programming. I may return it.
