Practice position words with Spökbus

In Spökbus you get to practice some of the most common position words, such as on, in, under and in front. The app consists of three games that take place in a forest, in a tower room and in a labyrinth. Spökbus is developed by speech therapists and is aimed at children at the beginning of their language development.

This is how you play

• In the forest we play hide and seek. You have to look for ghosts that have been hidden. Find the ghost that the ladybug asks for (eg on the coffin) and drag it to the ladybug.
• In the tower room we hide the key. Now the ladybug will ask you to hide a key in different places.
• A maze appears in the castle. Here you get to explore room conditions by dragging a ghost through the maze to the ladybug.

Click on the ladybugs in the games to hear the oral instruction again.

Via the gear you can make different settings.

In the games there are two different levels of difficulty, easy and difficult. On a small screen (telephone) there is only the light level in the castle / labyrinth.

In the forest and the tower room, you can choose which keywords you want to practice:
• in, on, under
• in front behind
• between, next to, above
• all mode words

In the tower room and the castle / labyrinth on a small screen (telephone) you can choose whether you are right- or left-handed. On the small screen, the key / ghost ends up a little on the side of the finger to be visible.

Spökbus is primarily aimed at children with delayed language development or Swedish as a second language and can be used to advantage by speech therapists or educators as part of a language training program. The app is also aimed at young children with normal language development, who can use the app to stimulate vocabulary.

The exercises can be done at a leisurely pace. There are natural breaks, when you can talk about what you see and hear.
