Radio South Antenna FM, went live on January 18th 1989, with an output of 250 Watts at a frequency of 90.7 Mhz, with its studios located in the central city and its transmitters on the hill of Santa Leopoldina, covering initially Castro and part of the Campos Gerais region, with a popular and different programming came gradually conquering the audience of the population, who until then did not have an FM station in the city.
In 1991 the station got authorization to increase power to 1000 Watts, further increasing their area, and his listeners that were beginning to turn to the neighboring cities like Ponta Grossa, Carambeí, South Pirai and Tibagi.
In 1993 the South Antenna FM radio receives authorization for power increase, changing class and frequency, and starting this year begins a new phase in our station. Began operating with 5,000 Watts of power at a frequency of 102.7 Mhz, now we were already reaching more municipalities of Campos Gerais and part of the state of São Paulo, as Apiaí, registration, Itararé, Itapeva and others. With a dynamic and compact team, we were doing radio to compete with the big broadcasters, and were already respected by many.
In an attempt to improve service to our customers and reduce errors, the station decided to invest in technology and improve the quality of services provided, then came the computerization was the first radio in the region to implement a management system and a system to play commercials, songs and vignettes on the computer, something that so far, only the stations of the big cities had. Computerization came to help in a lot of the work inside the station, so left more time for the team to work on programming and promotion to improve the quality of services provided by the broadcaster.
Today in the 21st century, the Radio South Antenna FM, is a power in radio, respected and known throughout the state of Paraná. Operating at 30,000 watts and a tower of 85 meters situated at the top of Carambeí is the radio which has the highest coverage of the state of Paraná, and two studios, an auxiliary in Ponta Grossa and the principal on Castro, the station offers a differential his listeners and customers.
