Get paid faster and avoid delay with all you need to access your benefits in one place. With the Alberta Blue Cross® app 100 per cent of health claims can be submitted online, saving you time and money. Simply sign in using fingerprint or facial recognition to take full advantage of being an Alberta Blue Cross® member today.
The app offers several convenient features such as
• your ID card—making it nearly impossible to forget at home,
• online claims submission—in most cases payment is available next business day,
• real-time claims history—find out if a claim has been processed with direct deposit date,
• cancel or modify a claim—quickly make changes without phoning or waiting on hold,
• upload receipts—take a photo of your receipt and upload,
• benefit lookup—whether it is for prescription drug, health or dental, you can look up eligibility, how much of a benefit has been used and see when your next full-maximum is available,
• direct-bill provider lookup—through google maps, find providers near you who direct-bill,
• Balance®—your online wellness platform,

great app very user friendly and easy to use. however sometimes it lags and says cannot process claim so i enter it again and it ends up being entered twice

Works ok - few small quibbles. The title of the app for whatever reason makes it hard to search for (Alberta, blue and cross all don't pull it). Interface is a bit more menu diving than the SK version but it's very functional

I used to be with Pacific Blue Cross and had no problem uploading receipts in the app. The Alberta Blue Cross app does not allow me to upload receipts while I try and submit a claim in the app. I can see a Blue square with a plus sign telling me to upload my receipt, but there's no hyperlink that takes me to any uploading screen. Disappointing to try and submit claims for practitioners that do not direct-bill.
