Meets or exceeds standards set by US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Handbook 44 Section 5.54 “Taximeters”

Need a ride?
Find all the cars for hire in your area fast and order one directly. Check out the reputation of the car and the driver before you order the ride, then follow the car on your screen as it gets closer. The app will notify you when the car is nearby. You can even see the metre on your phone while riding, and at the end of the trip optionally pay with cash, credit card or PayPal directly from your phone. (future implementation)

Drive a Cab?
Join the Local Ride Network and get more rides on top of what you get from dispatch or from flags. When a passenger requests a ride, you can see where they are, where they want to go and you can see their reputation before you agree to give them a ride.

Own a Taxi or Taxi company?
Keep track of all your cars; where they are, and what they are doing. Everything is recorded and stored in our database, so keeping records just got a lot easier!

Drive for any ride share company?
If legal in your area, join the Local Ride Network and don't pay any fees. The app is free, and you KEEP ALL YOUR MONEY. Install Local Ride Network, then invite all your passengers to install it as well.

Ride-Share?
**** **** or others... or start your own ride-share network. If it is legal in your area, the app is everything you need to get into the booming ride-share business without any cost. No restrictions on what car you use, or what area you are in, or when you drive - AND NO FEES. You keep all of the money you earn. Make sure you have proper insurance and obey all the laws of your area.

Your customers can see where you are and your status (on a trip...) and they can order a ride directly from their phone. The app shows you where the customer is, and where they want to go and you can get information about the customer before you decide to accept/reject the ride. The app has a built in metre that you can set to whatever you need to charge. The customer can also see the metre on their phone, so they know the cost as you drive. The customer can pay cash, or use PayPal directly from their phone into your PayPal account. (cash only for now, credit cards and PayPal in future releases)

If you drive a car for hire INSTALL THIS APP, then tell all your passengers to do the same.
If you take taxis or rideshare, INSTALL THIS APP and tell all your drivers to do the same.

As a driver, you will have to be registered with a business. A single driver will register a business, wait for confirmation, then register at least one car, then the single driver.
A business can register, wait for the approval email, then register several cars, then accept registration for several drivers.

When you register your business please wait for the approval email before you register cars and drivers. Drivers will register and then need to be approved by the company prior to using the app to carry passengers or packages.
