Pipe Friction Factor allows the user to calculate the friction factor for pipes or ductwork by providing the Reynolds number (turbulent flow only) and the relative roughness of the pipe. The program then solves the Colebrook equation for the friction factor. No more staring at Moody Diagrams thanks to Pipe Friction Factor!
The algorithm used for solving the Colebrook equation is based, in part, on "Solving for Friction Factor", ASHRAE Journal, vol. 45, no. 7, p. 41-44.
