BCV TWINT is the 100% free mobile payment solution for BCV customers.

BCV TWINT is Switzerland's digital wallet, allowing you to pay easily and securely with your smartphone. Sending money to friends, paying for purchases online or in-store, paying at the SBB, paying for parking or sending a donation are just a few examples of what the app enables. And new functions are added regularly.

- Direct link with BCV account, no invoices or paperwork to manage
- Choice of debit from account or BCV credit card
- Contactless payment in stores and online without a credit card
- Register TWINT as a means of payment with merchants' websites or applications (e.g. SBB, Swisscom, Migros, etc.) and pay automatically afterwards

- Send and receive money between friends immediately and free of charge

Constraints

- Minimum age 7
- Individuals (excluding corporate accounts)
- Individual signature on account
- Eligible account (e.g. private or joint account)
- BCV Mobile application installed to activate BCV TWINT
- BCV TWINT is currently only available in the Swiss store with a Swiss phone number.

BCV TWINT is for private use only and cannot be used by merchants to receive payments from their customers using the send money function.

It's gotten a nice interface improvement, but it's still missing the crucial feature of being able to change the payment account while on the payment page. Right now you have to go to settings and change it from there before you go to do the payment, which is really annoying. It could be implemented quite simply with a dropdown at the top of the payment screen, with a default account selected that you can change if needed.

Dear Lea, thanks a lot for your feed-back. This is a feature we have had in our pipeline for quite some time now. I'll push it again and make sure it makes it in a future BCV TWINT release. Stay tuned !

Works great. But if the receiver is not active in Twint and the sender tries to send him money, the transaction debits the sender account but doesn't credit the receiver. In such circumstance, the transaction shouldn't go through at all. Strange that there is room for such discrepancy. [Edit on 6/9/19] That faulty transaction occurred on 19th August. But still I haven't got the amount refunded back. Will see when that happens.

Master of unreliability This is the most unreliable app I have ever used. In about 1 out of 3 cases it does not work. Irritating to do your shopping, wait at the check-out, have all goods scanned, and then TWINT failure. You end up with wasted time, no goods, annoying the waiting customers, and a cashier who is also lost. Today TWINT said I had paid, but Coop received nothing. I had to pay twice (TWINT + credit card) to be able to leave with my shopping. Unacceptable!
