About this app
DroidPlane is a mind mapping application for Android. It allows you to open FreePlane [1] and FreeMind [2] documents on your Android device. DroidPlane is optimized for large mind maps with many thousand nodes. The map is not displayed in the conventional format, but as a navigable tree. This makes it possible to browse through large mind maps on relatively small screens.
Files can be opened directly from Dropbox or any other file manager. At the moment, it is only possible to open files read only. Editing mind maps is not yet possible.
The application is in a very early state right now. Please send me an email to code@benediktkoeppel.ch if you have wishes, suggestions and feedback. Thanks!

Good, simple way to view FreePlane maps on phone. One limitation I have found is that relative file links (E.G. a link to a PDF file) aren't handled with respect to Android and, therefore, don't work. N.B. Links added in FreePlane map with option for option for links set to "relative" rather than "absolute". Editing the links manually to try and match Android file paths has proven unsuccessful.

Nice outline / tree viewer for freeplane mindmaps (content viewer only) As develop says no support for editing or viewing the formatted mind maps I was able to open files from cloud drives using the file manager interface Great

Maybe I'm just stupid or something but. I've downloaded the app and what I see on the screeshots and in the app is not all the same.. on example, I see a dashboard in the screenshot but when you go to the app no Dashboars. Only "Droidplane and Droidplane help"🙆
