Linked directly to your account

Easily link your personal postal account to the PostFinance TWINT App with a few simple steps and use it instantly. The direct debit on the relevant account is made automatically. You can also store credit cards (MasterCard or Visa) and use them to pay.

Complete the one-off registration in the app – you can then access it using Fingerprint or a PIN code of your choice. For the registration and linking of your account either use the Login via PostFinance App (PostFinance Mobile App version 4.9.0) or your PostFinance Card and the yellow card reader.

Pay digitally with your smartphone
Cashless payment with PostFinance TWINT is made via QR-Code or Bluetooth.

For QR-Code payments (e.g. at farmshops, stores with TWINT implemented on the card terminal or at online shop checkouts), just open the PostFinance TWINT App and scan the QR Code with your smartphone’s camera

Here’s how to make a payment via Bluetooth:
• Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone

The activation was cumbersome. I had to use a card reader despite a working PF app on this phone, and a Twint app on another one. The payments OTOH work like a charm.

Keeps showing ads via notifications. I opted out from the third party ads via app settings. TWINT seems to ignore this entirely. 1 star as long as you don't fix this behaviour. EDIT: I'm well aware of Android's built-in setting. I'm referring to your app settings. Disabling third party ads there should truly disable them. To me, it looks like you're simply ignoring the user's choice and present ads, regardless whether we opt in or opt out. Stop putting your profit above your userbase.

Hello Makorus Makar. Thank you for your feedback. PostFinance TWINT only notifies transaction related Information (e.g. money received), general TWINT Tipps (e.g. TWINT is available at a new Merchant) or PostFinance own Promotions via push (e.g. pay 3 times with PF Twint, win a smartphone), but no 3rd party offerings. Kind regards, PostFinance

Beacon and QR code button not working any more. Except for the button animation, just nothing happens. Thanks for your feedback. No such apps are installed and the phone is not rooted. Also the screen filter function from the system is off. If I enable it, a warning message is shown by twint. Thanks! Works after reinstalling and go throug the painfull onbording again.
