Sightings of rare birds can be submitted easily direct from the field and shared with all users of the app. A push notification alert informs you immediately if a rare birds shows up. GPS and maps make it easy to locate the bird. A photo of the species or the locality can be attached to the news. To avoid disturbance and to guide observers, additional remarks can be made.
Swiss Bird Alert was designed by birders for birders. Some of the most active birders from every corner of Switzerland support Swiss Bird Alert with their sightings.

To use the app you have to pay a fee. This can be done directly in the app itself.
