About this app

Office 365 users can view and sync Public Folder contacts and calendars with this free app. Contacts and Appointments can be created, edited and deleted. Public Folder Email messages are also accessible but view only.

There are no ads and no in-app purchases. The app does NOT see or store your password.

After the first logon to the app, a CiraSync Personal Edition subscription is automatically created.

Through the CiraSync dashboard, you can also sync Public Folder contacts and calendars directly to your Office 365 mailbox so they will be visible in Outlook and on the Android. The web dashboard is available at https://dashboard.cirasync.com.

You can also sync the GAL (Global Address List) to your smartphone contacts via Outlook and the Android address book.

CiraSync EE users can also sync Outlook contact subfolders to the Android address book.

This app does NOT work with on premise Exchange or hosted Exchange.

Frustrating App, as I constantly have to uninstall and reinstall the App to get it to sync/update changes as it constantly does not store changes made despite completing correctly. You cannot view calendar on laptop when logged into Personal Dashboard, cannot set App to auto sync when required (I.e. daily). Contact helpdesk and it was more like a sales pitch for me to purchase their full package which is a minimum payment of $120 a year for 10 users and no indication of price if not a US citizen

yes you can view and edit public folders in the app but it does not actually sync them into the phone's native Contacts app on an Android device and so is barely useful send it doesn't work for caller ID or the call history list or anything like that. And that's even though we have a paid Enterprise account with them.

It displayed public calendars but did not sync them. Uninstalled. It's a come on for the Enterprise version. Response to reply from publisher: As the original review said, I want to sync public calendars. The description says it will do so, but you have to purchase the enterprise version to get that functionality. If I am wrong, please explain how. You need to edit the description in the Google Play store. It clearly says syncing.

Thanks for taking time to explain. CiraSync PE allows syncing a public folder calendar to a mailbox. It's free. The mobile app does not claim to do this. The CiraSync app costs thousands per month to maintain. We do try to balance the functionality that provides value to the free version while also attracting Enterprise Edition customers.

What's new

This version adds support of middle name and addresses fields to Native Sync feature, as well as automatic restoring of synced contacts in native address book
