About this app

Find out the latest UK film and DVD/Blu-ray age ratings from the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC). Use this app to find the latest age ratings, trailers, cinema and video on demand releases - so you can choose what’s right for you and your family.

The BBFC is independent and not-for-profit, and here to help everyone in the UK – especially children and families – choose age-appropriate films, videos and websites, wherever and however they watch or use them.

By regularly consulting with thousands of people across the country, and working closely with the film and digital industries, with educators and organisations dedicated to children’s welfare, we are continually evolving the guidance we offer. So increasingly we are able to make a bigger difference in helping everyone – children, families and adults – choose well.

Wow, what happened here? This used to be a great app, now it's just looks like a front end to the website - with almost no (new) content on the app. Home page is minimalist - particularly now when there isn't much new stuff. So, again, what happened? Update March 2022 - where is your info? I look up Die Hard 3, there is nothing about cuts, full, how to find full, what cuts were made... this app is getting worse - with ebay, CEX and others, it's easy to get an edited version & box sets!!!!?!?!?!

In my opinion, systems like these are overrated nonsense. No offence. You can't even go into a cinema without seeing something ridiculous like 'Oh, under 15s cannot watch this film' or whatever. Kids desire to watch new films but instead have to watch boring films they have already seen. But is a smart app which never crashes.

Removed the option to look at what version and how much was cut so you can't tell what release is cut and uncut and here is a hint just give it an 18 rating and release films uncut or have a new higher age rating or do like America allow release of films uncut and unrated you have cut to death so many amazing films it's shocking stop cutting films
