About this app

Bell Bank’s free mobile banking app is a convenient and secure tool designed for Personal and Business banking customers to manage finances from anywhere using a mobile device. The app is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, accessible with your existing online banking username and password. Users may enroll for access to the Personal platform by clicking Sign up now from the login screen and following the prompts.

MANAGE YOUR ACCOUNTS
- Monitor account balances
- View recent transactions, include images of cleared checks and deposits
- Retrieve periodic statements
- Additional services available to business online banking customers
o Working positive pay exceptions
o Add issued check items

TRANSFER FUNDS
- Transfer money between accounts at Bell, or between Bell and other banks
- Schedule future-dated or recurring transfers

PAY BILLS
- Schedule payments and pay bills using Bill Pay
- Pay existing billers or set up new billers
- Set up eBills or bill reminders
- Make payments to your loan, line, or mortgage

SEND MONEY WITH ZELLE®
- Personal banking customers only
- Send and receive money right from the app, safely and easily
- All you need is the recipient’s email address or U.S. mobile number

DEPOSIT CHECKS
- Deposit checks by snapping a picture of each check
- View deposit history in the app

REVIEW AND APPROVE
- Business banking customers only
- Approve scheduled transactions including business bill pay, fund transfers, ACH or wire transfers
- Receive alerts when approvals are pending

FIND LOCATIONS
- Find a nearby Bell Bank branch location or ATM

DEBIT CARD MANAGEMENT
- Access your cards and card information anytime, anywhere
- “Turn off” a missing card. Set up transaction alerts and report a lost or stolen card
- Set up travel plans for your cards and make updates on your trip if plans change
- Set pending limits, view merchants name, location and more for every transaction

The app used to be quite good. Responsive, well laid-out, and with adequate functionality. However, following the introduction of some new features a host of bugs, crashes, and instability has been introduced. The app takes twice as long to do anything, and tasks which previously presented no issue have become prone to hangs and crashes. The 'manage cards' section in particular was entirely inaccessible - causing hard crashes - for months.

When I first downloaded the app, it was plenty adequate for a medium sized bank. Since then, so many bugs have been introduced. Bullet points were added to line items which makes the column too narrow to read properly. Viewing check scans is impossible because images are zoomed way in with no navigation controls. The back button does not bring you back to any kind of main menu. I would be happy to change this review if the issues are addressed. I like the bank and want to like this app.

Update: The issue with check images should now be resolved. The bullet points are the menu options that allow you to expand the transaction view, or to send a question on a specific transaction through secure message to the bank. In testing, we have not found it to impact transaction view, but please let us know if it is still impacting you.

I've used the app for several years and love the convenience especially the deposit feature. The app had an update and I'm not liking the look or previous ease to use it that I had come to love. It use to look like the pictures in the description and now there is little to no color, set up is very basic and large font that doesn't allow all my accounts to show up on front page. I liked the look, set up and ease of the app before the changes.
