Update: Android volume setting design flaws are likely root source of my frustration with this app. It looks like what I found so annoying was more a problem with how Android volume settings are designed to be processed by the apps. Hopefully a future enhancement could be to add a mute icon button to the main menu page similar to what other gaming apps do. So the app isn't 5 stars in our house but is still good Original thoughts: First round of play was fun then it ignored my mute settings and woke the whole family. Obnoxious sounds are bad enough but they are not tolerable when they ignore the phone mute settings.

Hi Melanie, This is Bryan. I developed the Monster Math Flash Cards app. I spent 6 months developing the app and strive to fix any bugs that we might not be aware of. There are 3 type of volume controls (media, ringtone, notifications) and was wondering if the wrong one was muted. Could you re-test and make sure the "media" volume is muted?

My girls like it. Wish the menu had the type of problems as an option and would be nice if you could track the progress of different children. Just ideas. :)

This app is perfect for my 8 year old because she is learning division. My younger daughter likes the addition and started doing subtraction.
