Note: WIFI adapters support is available in beta version. You can use mobile data and OBD WiFi adapter at the same time: depending on your phone firmware, the system may show you a pop-up when WiFi with no Internet detected - the rule of thumb here is that you should select to use MOBILE DATA and KEEP the WiFi network connected.

2022 Subaru Ascent and OBDLink MX rev 2.2 works great! Much appreciate having a tool like this. Once setup, connection is pretty seamless and snappy. I tow heavy so having all available info to keep an eye on my engine and cvt is a huge advantage. Just not sure about the 'basic version' label, is there an 'advanced/pro' version? I couldn't find it.

The advanced (full) version purchase will be restored soon (currently it's temporarily disabled), sorry for the delay.

When I installed this app a few months ago for CVT temp reading it worked fine with my OBDII scanner. Now the option to read the CVTF isn't available at all. I have tried to update to the "Pro" version and that isn't available either. Additionally, there is a post that says there should be an ActiveOBD plug-in for the Torque App which doesn't exist either. I just want a simple solution to read the CVT temp.

There were no changes to the app in respect of CVT temp reading - free basic version should just work. Try to forget the connection in the app's Setting and repeat the initial procedure, otherwise please contact by e-mail

Does not read error codes and caused a check engine light to turn on in 2014 Crosstrek. A previous version of the app could read error codes. I'm using OBDlink MX adapter. When the check engine comes on the cruise control does not work. *Response to the developer: The check engine light was first. It starts when the app connects to the obd2 adaptor, but not every time. The app can still read pids such as rpm and what not even with the check engine light on but can not read any error codes.

The app is definitely compatible with MY14 and OBDLink MX. The best idea appears to be trying a different adapter, and read trouble codes that the MX caused. If you need a more detailed feedback please contact by email app@activeobd.com
