It's 2023 and my new €1000 dryer cannot connect to Asus WiFi networks when the network is in mesh mode... Edit in response to the developer: switching on or off the 5GHz band makes no difference. It really is the mesh network. A 1000€ device not being able to handle 5GHz on the same network would be a shame as well anyway.

Hi, het apparaat dient op het 2.4 GHz signaal te draaien. Vooral voor het verbinden is het belangrijk dat het 5GHz-signaal uitgeschakeld is. I've gotten AEG dryer top model for about 1000 EUR and spent all evening to connect to the app because some of features and options are accessible thrue the app only. App recognized my dryer as a washing mashine, but not as a dryer. I want to dry my loundry, not spend hours to fix yhe bugs connecting the app. Wast of money and time with AEG. By the way, Xi smart socket for 15 EUR connected securely in less than 2 minutes via app, but AEG still performs only some of basic functions without app.

The app is dead (16.12.23). When I open the app to see the status of my dryer it tells me to download another app which I need to connect to the dryer again through the silly process and on TOP of that the new app is worse than the old one.
