About this app

With Pixelator you can quickly pixelate sections of an image to hide identities or to keep some things private.

All you need to do is select an image in your gallery or take a new photo, then simply drag your finger across the areas that you want to keep private and press save to export the newly blurred image to your phone.

This is a fully featured app that has no ads nor locks any features.

Is the love this app but I don't know if they're just not keeping up with development or what but now on a pixel 7 pro and individually tested with their friends pixel 8 pro. If you go to pixelate something, it takes approximately 6 seconds for the changes to show up. It used to be instantaneous. You could actually see something it pixelated in real time. Moved to a different app that is basically just Photoshop for pixelation and am much happier

When I opened the app, a window popped up saying that I need to give the app permission to view my photos. I pressed the OK button to confirm permission. Immediately after the permission window closes, it opens up again as though permission was not granted, inhibiting any further use of the app. Absolutely terrible back end support. Good luck.

It does the job but the app is quite buggy. Ads a black background on images with transparent background and the undo doesn't get rid of the background.
