About this game

Learning Sudoku is an extension of the great Open Sudoku by Roman Masek but it has a twist. The game includes a comprehensive tutorial to teach you from the easiest techniques to solve the beginner sudokus to the most advanced techniques to solve the Nightmare levels.

All the puzzles are categorized in folders ordered precisely by the different techniques you will learn in the tutorial so you will be able to progress smoothly and not only have fun but also improve your game.

For this Learning Sudoku is a must download if you just started playing this game and also if you are a regular player who want to improve your skills.

And if you just want to enjoy Learning Sudoku like any other Sudoku game in Play Store, that's fine, you will find the same cool features you would expect from a Sudoku game, like:

• Multiple Input Methods.
• 1500+ different real fully symmetric Sudoku puzzles.
• Pencil Marks, manual and automated.
• Automatic Save - Easy Restore.
• Multiple Screen Themes.
• Ability to download more and more puzzles from our site.

The game is completely free, and it will eventually be supported by unobtrusive adds.

There are no annoying ads (the repeated demands for review were more obtrusive than the ad space), but it lacks features like autopencil and autocheck that would be helpful to new players. The explanation section lacks a table of contents, so you have to scroll through all content every time. All that said, if you're not actually a new learner and just want a LOT of puzzles, for free, organized by difficulty, without lengthy/disruptive ads, this won't make you mad. Three solid stars for that.

I love the tutorials but it could be more helpful: Other apps highlight the locations of the number you have selected, highlight the row, column, and block you're in. None of that happens here. I expected there to be controls that would point out errors that you've made as you go along that you could turn off as you get better, but it allows you to make mistakes that lead you into situations that make you feel hopelessly lost.

This is the perfect Sudoku app. It is the closest to playing for real - no cheating! But what I like most about it are the puzzles. These are not random, computer generated puzzles. These were designed to be fun and somehow elegant. I'm not sure how to describe it, but I certainly can tell the difference. There are no intrusive ads, you can adjust the settings to make it how you like. I have played many different apps, but have stuck with this one exclusively for the past two years.
