Engage is your personalized health assistant. It's provided for free by your employer in partnership with Anthem and is completely confidential. With Engage Wellbeing, you can:
1. Know exactly what your health insurance (e.g., Anthem BCBS ) or employee benefits cover
2. See where you’ve spent your healthcare dollars
3. Access care, claims, telehealth, and your healthcare data on-the-go
4. Discover your employer perks and programs
5. Earn points for hitting your wellbeing goals

Engage Wellbeing’s healthcare management app is available exclusively to individuals and their dependents who have access to Engage through their employee benefits program. Your app features will vary depending on how your employer is set up. Not sure if your employer offers Engage? Ask your Human Resources department.

This app is minimally helpful. While it's nice to theoretically see your providers, deductible status, ID card, and other features at a glance, the deductible info doesn't update regularly, and searching for providers is infuriating. It's all too happy to recommend "providers close to you," as long as you don't mind "close" being defined as 40 miles away. Searching doesn't give you a list of providers; it just pops up with the first one with a close name. My insurer needs to find a better app.

The app told me I was actively covered for dental but it wasn't until after I went to my dentist that I found out no, that wasn't true. There is a disconnect between the employer and BCBS, and having things updated (by over a year!). It can be very difficult figuring out how to update your provider and Rx lists; I'm still scratching my head. Once you get used to seeing past all the fluff, though, it is nice to see everything in one spot.

Not intuitive navigation and can take clicking multiple options before finding what I'm looking for. HSA details were out of date, always had to go to my HSA webpage to find my real available amount. Biggest issue: every time I try to login on the website or the app, I have to create a new password. I can create a password, and 5 minutes later or will tell me it's incorrect. Got the app hoping the fingerprint scanner could help bypass this issue... Nope, can't use the scanner because of this.
