Crashes every time I launch it. I literally have to go to app info and force stop then clear cache and relaunch EVERY TIME. Additionally, even as a subscriber there are obnoxious advertisements throughout that make it difficult to scroll stories and use in general. The layout is bad. The sports teams covered need their own sections. Search is unusable. Apps don't get much worse than this.

Wish I could give it less than 1 star. The app was flawed before, it's worse now. Difficult to read because of background pictures, limited content, huge ads that take up half the screen, after reading an article in a chosen section going back takes you back to the main screen instead of the section, no more comments, and content is slow to update. Developers are fairly unresponsive. If you haven't updated, don't do it. Wish I hadn't.

So difficult to use (much worse than the previous version, which wasn't very good) that I have cancelled my subscription. I can conceivably put up with the increasingly degraded content of the paper, which used to be first class, in the interest of supporting local news media, but this app makes it so difficult to navigate the paper that I regretfully give up.
