AndroShredder allows to permanently destroy file contents and wipe previously used storage space, so that secret data can't be restored even by advanced recovery tools.
You can schedule tasks like wipe, shred, clear clipboard to run at a specific interval in background.
AndroShredder has been tested against several data recovery tools. None of them were able to recover data that was cleaned by AndroShredder.

Great shredder, but slow as molasses. No technical assistance from the developer... doesn't exist. Shreddit offers better shredding algorithms... Andro doesn't even tell you what the algorithms are - just the number of overwrites. Apparently there's no random characters and even could be ALL just 1's or just 0's!!! Wrote to the developer twice to find out.... NEVER replies. I still keep it just because Shreddit, every couple of months, randomly stops working and I have to uninstall/reinstall.

One of my favourite apps since a long time. But with recent updates, it has not been as per expectation. 1) schedule doesn't work perfectly. Despite having a weekly scan with all days scheduled, it has not scanned beyond the last day of the previous month. In other words, 30 June was last scanned, and no scans in July. Same happened in April & May. 2) After having wiped say 4GB free space then AndroShredder will show cache/data storage space of 4GB to be utilised. so my free space disappears.

Does what it says, does it easy, and does it well. The interface is very simple to use, and while I can't say for sure if the data has indeed been wiped, it's reasonable to assume that it'll be safe from most recovery software. If the CIA is after your data, good luck. I didn't face any of the issues that other users have reported, so this app is certainly worth a shot.
