About this app

Today is a good day to start running and get fit. In just 9 weeks you will be able to run 5 km with Couch to 5k & 10k. Amazing, isn’t it?
Couch to 5k & 10k is based on the prestigious fitness program C25K (couch to 5k) especially designed so that anyone can achieve their goal although he has not run in years (if ever!). The app will guide you step by step giving instructions when you have to run and walk. There are 3 workouts per week, each one about 30 minutes. The program will slowly become more challenging. Your body's endurance will gradually increase over time with the interval training method. You need more? Do not worry…
If you've completed your 5k training, congratulations! Couch to 5k & 10k also includes a complete 10k training based on the same principle run/walk so it will be just as easy to move from 5k to 10k. There's no excuse, up from the couch!

With Couch to 5k & 10k you will enjoy:

I love this app and I use it often (and have used the Couch to 5K program for many years). I do wish there was an option to save the results or make notes in it. For example, if I run outside on hills or bad weather, my times will be different than running inside on treadmill. If I look back to evaluate my times, there is no option for notes. Sometimes I am unable to run for injury, travel, sickness, etc. I often go back a week or two but cannot notate that only delete previous sessions.

far to often lately, the app won't update my runs on its own. Also when i switched phones the app didn't carry over data which was disappointing. BUT it is better than the last version of the app in that it won't crash when using runkeeper and music player simultaneously. i would recommend improving functionality such that it can integrate with 3rd party apps such as fitbit. this way there is no need for additional app use such as runkeeper

I really like this app a lot, when it works correctly. I am on Week 5, Day 1. 95% of the time, after I've finished a run, my screen dims and I'm not presented with the "end" screen, where I get my stats, etc and where I can select a smiley face, as to how I felt my run went. Out of the first 4 weeks, the app only worked correctly 3 or 4 times. Thankfully, the app acknowledges I completed my run, as the next time I start the app I'm presented with the subsequent run. However, I would like to be able to see my stats each time. My buddy has a different phone than I do, and we run together. He has no issues with his app. I have a Google Pixel 3.
