Recently the app loses connection to the probes every 5 minutes or so. You can be in the middle of graphing something or some other important test and lose connection. Then you have to force close the app and restart which takes a minute which is a long time when working on a live system. I will have to choose a different system because the job link app is no longer working. I recommend a different system. I opened a support ticket, they say they have no solution, but will let me know....

The app will not work without allowing gps location(should absolutely be optional, but isn't) also if you don't have cellular connection you cannot login to view the probes. It really sucks to hook up the probes and then find out you don't have a great signal and the probes are now paperweights. As a technician I regret buying the probes purely because of this app, and I will not buy any more fieldpiece equipment until this is fixed.

Edit: Since the last review, things have only gotten worse, and tech support has said they're trying to help, but I get nowhere with that! But now the app just loses connection with the tools (tools are still powered on and I'll be right next to them troubleshooting), which means I have to close out and reopen the app to re-link my tools. The problem with that is that I lose all of my data, and this whole form that we're supposed to be able to present to the homeowner becomes obsolete! NO POINT!

Have you tried troubleshooting yet? If not, please uninstall and reinstall the app, and try opening your Google Maps app and keep it open in the background while you connect your tools.
