Ruined a perfectly good app Re: I don't meed new features. I just needed an app that was easy to read (the old version was), allowed me to check off when I finished a chapter, and had no ads. I don't need pop ups of any kind nor do I need anything else. Why it is impossible to find a Bible app that is not filled with random "features" is beyond me. I just want to read the Bible! Re2: The old text and format seemed easier to read for me. As for ads, I do not want any. Thanks.

Our app is a simple reader, with new features aimed at this goal. Tap the book name to see all books, use the (Tt) icon to customize (e.g., dark mode). Long-press any verse for bookmarks/notes/share. Access all your reading data in the left menu. We need ads to keep the app free, but we display only one upon loading, and it's skippable after 5 sec

I have always loved this app and use it often, if not daily. However, I have noticed with the latest update, there are a lot, I mean a LOT of grammatical errors. Not sure who was responsible for proof reading but they failed miserably! There are 77 (unless I missed some) in 2 Corinthians chapter 1 alone. When it comes to God's Word, error in printing are inexcusable! Please, PLEASE, PLEASE rectify this issue before those who love God's Word find another app to share scripture.

You are totally right; you are the second user to let us know. There was an error with the file selection at the developer level. We are working on an update as we speak, which should include our old and trusted Bible data from the old app in the new layout, along with some other minor fixes. We are really sorry for the inconvenience.

No ads, but doesn't go back where you left off. Its a bit of hassle to get back to where you were. The search seems good. I got this app because the one I had before kept sending multiple notifications hourly even with them turned off and this one doesn't. Overall, a useful app with no irritating sucking down my battery in the background.
