About this app

***It's a Tasker plugin, it requires Tasker 4.7+***
***In order to read or write an NFC tag, both NFC sensor and the screen must be ON***

Create an event using Tasker Event->Plugin->Nfc for Tasker. You can create events filtering according tag id.

You can write NFC tags using a Tasker action.

Note: if your tag is not detected, you can try to format it with the plug. Then try again.
Some tags provide a random ID each time they are read so in this case the id filter doesn't work.

It works, reliable, and no extra features i don't need wasting resources. My only concern is the lack of recent updates to these plugins. (Even if they work perfectly, it would be nice to see fresh 'updated on' dates so I know the dev is checking android 12/13 compatibility.)

This works very well and as long as you're familiar with Tasker it's very easy to use. There are surprisingly few ways that I've found to write and store information directly onto NFC tags in this way (instead of only using the tag ID as a trigger), and this does the trick!

Amazing. Was having an option between tasker and some Samsung tags app EVERYTIME I scanned an NFC, with no option to set a default. This worked a treat! Thanks
