It does what it says it does pretty well. I can find the podcasts I want, subscribe to them, download the episodes if I want, and listen to them with limited ad interruptions. I notice some hiccups in streaming and if I have other apps running sometimes the sound drops out and I have to re-connect (this could be an issue with my phone or the other apps too, though). Overall a solid app that performs the task you ask it to.

Playback is managed by the Google player engine. If you're streaming, playback will stop in case of network issue and will resume after buffering again. If other apps ask for audio focus same thing the playback will pause then resume. Feel free to contact me so I can check exactly what's causing this

Great app, bought it years ago when there was a separate, paid version of the app. My only complaint keeping it from 5 stars is it skips randomly. Like a record, it'll jump back. Maybe 30 seconds or longer. The interval seems random. I'll just be listening in my car, or gardening, then suddenly deja vu. Maybe I have some setting checked that makes it do that. I don't know. I can't figure it out. It happens often enough that when it happens I'm no longer confused, I just sigh.

This issue isn't related to the app. You will experience it with every player while streaming the same podcast. It's caused by dynamic ad insertion which causes the episode duration to change when the device connection drops and resumes, therefore it will resume from the same exact timestamp but which points to s different position. Download 1st as

For some stupid reason, at the end of a podcast it recommends another podcast from my list (or sometimes just a random one not on my list) and starts with the last (newest) episode. Why would I want to listen in reverse? Also it keeps going back to the main screen, sometimes in the middle of listening, which is not ideal when driving. Edit - app makers should not be so sensitive. I never said the app is stupid. Also, I do have it set to play in the right order. It just doesn't sometimes.

Sorry but as explained before the app plays the content of your playlist following the order. You can open teg PLAYLIST screen to check this and adapt the content and order accordingly. Everything is explained in the FAQs and you can also contact me 1st before rating the app badly so I can help (Settings/feedback)
