About this app

Your photos, videos and music are instantly available to play on any connected TV screen or audio system around – at home, at a friend’s house, or at your local café. For online content like news, sports and music videos, check out the Flipps app.

Access your digital content from anywhere. iMediaShare automatically discovers any connected devices around you. All you have to do is choose the one you’d like to play on, and your videos stream instantly on the big screen. iMediaShare also serves as the ultimate remote, so you can adjust volume, playback, or switch videos with intuitive touchscreen gestures.

You no longer have to pass around a single phone from person to person to show videos while hanging out. Instead, stream those videos to any connected TV so everyone can see!

I wish it worked like it used to from when I read the old reviews. (The purpose of casting /Mirroring your phone screen to Xbox 1) Now it just does what your normal Android phone can do already-which is cast videos and photos from your internal gallery storage from your phone. Not even cloud storage. It does what it says it's going to do but it's a shame it doesn't do what it USED to do... Also it may be an abandoned app because it's made for older versions of Android 🤷🏼‍♂️

Ease of use. Simple direct instructions. Oh... and it works. Until it doesn't again. After one success I went to go use it again and it was like in the past where it was very hard to upload anything into it all that would take were just your photographs and your gallery and your camera app. The old way used to be where anything you wanted to upload anywhere else there would be their app and you can easily just pass on anything to iMedia and then I would transfer it to another device. .

App asks for location permissions when uses wifi to function (why?), always runs in background even when not open (again why? Location permissions "only when running"? So always...?), when watching a movie I have ZERO control. None of the controls work except the power button on my remote. Only way to stop video is to turn off TV. Can't fast forward, rewind, stop, or close out video using app or remote. Can't change volume with remote and only works 5% of the time with phone volume buttons.
