The app is a bit slow, with seemingly very little cached on device. The service itself is on the higher end of the price to portion size spectrum. It also lacks responsive customer service, is heavy on plastic packaging, and uses gig-worker Axel Hire for delivery, which has caused not-infrequent delivery issues.

I've used other meal kit programs with their apps and have not found one that is as user-friendly as Blue Apron's. They make it easy to see and select your meals. But the big thing for me came when I needed to pause the delivery. Other companies make it super hard to figure out. Thank you Blue Apron. The meal kits are wonderful, but I'm here to rate the app. The app is great. The way it's layed out (for lack of more technical term) is very easy to navigate and use. Thumbs up!

Not sure which update caused this change, but now that you can easily select the date of future deliveries with just a tap, and there's a toggle button to easily skip the delivery, and another button to change recipes, it makes the app so much more useful! I rarely leave reviews, but this change honestly makes such a huge difference when using the app to manage deliveries, I had to mention it.
