same problem as other users. it shows a Boingo WiFi available, but when you try to connect it says: "We weren't able to connect". This was in Zurich Airport, and main train station. I've only been able to connect to a wifi once using this app, but then it said there was no internet. But when it's installed it's the app that uses the most power for the day.

the app is able to connect less than 5% of the time when i am in range of a published partner wifi spot. its primary function appears to be telling me that i am connected to the internet via wireless and takes credit for a connection it has not helped establish. typically i abandon the app and try to connect directly to the wifi partner by selecting roaming/boingo and logging in directly. this is successful less than 50% of the time as the partner/boingo verification fails frequently.

I live in Hong Kong and travel often on Singapore Airlines. Previously I could use Boingo properly on both occasions. However since early 2018, more and more hot spots including CSL and CMCC wifi services started to reject logins by Boingo app. The situation became much worse after the update of Boingo app, despite it run sneakily at background even I force stopped it, non of the hotspots i previously used could be logged in! And even Singapore Airlines' wifi on-board rejected it too! So basically it is a worthless product apart from having a spy app running at background and drying up data usage of my phone. Eventually I used app clearance to kill it completely last month.
