Modena 900

Modena 900 is dedicated to the streets and squares of the city, their signs of memory and the lives that they remember. A map that makes it visible and accessible 77 locations in the city including the monuments, memorials, gravestones and shrines and 452 biographies of partisans, military and civilian. A cultural operation that returns a physical contact with that story, aware of how the memory of the characters and events of that season subsides gradually with the passing years and the disappearance of witnesses.
A new approach to bring back to the community life stories, pictures, biographies of men and women who, before being protagonists of the struggle for liberation and become names on the stone, were active citizens of their time.
