Would rate lower if possible. Was given beyond as a gift. You are forced to add a credit card during registration and auto-renewal is enabled by default. New users would not know this. And i recently got charged for it. Customer service just gives templated responses and are inflexible, hiding behind the "non-refundable" policy. Bad experience. In this pandemic, deals aren't that great as well

The auto-renewal of your plan was clearly communicated before and after you signed up for a Burpple Beyond membership plan, as well as the information regarding the option to cancel/turn off your membership plan's auto-renewal anytime. Laggy as hell, and I do wait for them. Sometimes it just doesn't load. The search function is not robust. Example, highlighted for burpple beyond deals, yet vendors who are not under the scheme (probably previously they were but had since opted out) are being churned out in the results. Feels like the search functions on a 'and' basis, rather than a 'or' basis. Please optimise both ways. I will not be renewing but my membership page doesn't even load now 🙄 Please advise how else I can cancel.

The service is great and I love using it to score good deals, but the app is not the best. You can't even load restaurant pins if the map isn't pinched up to really zoomed in portions (not even load slowly!), during search the filters only work on an AND basis (you can't search for Buona Vista OR Holland Village for example), and a couple of other things make the UX a bit annoying.
