Updating review after a long time of not using it and lowering the rating to 1 star from 2. The ordering process is not intuitive and uses images and text that are too small and wastes a lot of unused space. I regret using the app even though I look forward to the food. How is the app this bad a few years later? On the plus side, I was able to place an order after figuring out how to navigate the ordering process. But I don't want to repeat the experience. Throw out the UI design and start over.

Overall, the app works fairly well when building your order. However, there have been multiple times where when I went to pay, an error message is displayed. Each time there is an error message, it actually charged my card. I've been charged 3 times in one instance and 4 times in another instance. Now I need to contact CAVA for reimbursement. Very frustrating.

This app was great, one of the easiest-to-use food ordering app. Then they changed the UX and now much more reading is required to see what youre tapping on (a lot of times you cant even see the whole title), and much more navigating around the screen rather than a simple scroll. I almost abandoned my order bc it was so frustrating, only continued on bc i was too hungry to find a different option. Please change the UX back and hire a better designer...
