Like many have said, the new app is pretty trashy. I guess it works, kind of, but they really just took a fine app and broke it with the new update. Downloads of larger books is a major pain. You have to scroll through to the book you want each time, rather than having downloaded and undownloaded books separated. When you do finally get a book downloaded, there is a weird tick in which the last 20-30 seconds of every chapter is skipped and it moves on to the next chapter. Needs major work.

It just keeps getting worse. Now I have to do a search to play the title that I'm currently on. In the prior versions, all you had to do was hit play, and it would pick up where you left. Sometimes, I wonder why I even bother with Christian Audio, given the long line of subpar Audio Players and inferior websites that I have had to endure from them over the years. Amazon Audible is great, ChristianAudio is horrible and just keeps getting worse and worse!

Each and every time I use this app I have to fuss with it. If i play the title, have to skip or go back, it heaven forbid pause and resume, i get a message that there is a problem retrieving the title. I end ep having to force close and reopen EVERY TIME I use this app. The only reason I use it is because the only service to offer the title I required.
