REQUIREMENTS & USAGE
Using IR:
* Receivers can be controlled using IR on select Samsung, HTC and LG devices that have built-in IR blasters (Mini-Guide requires networked receivers)
Using WiFi/Network:
* This app uses WiFi to control your receivers!
* Automatic discovery of your receivers with ability to add manually.
* Receivers must be networked (wired or wirelessly) and configured for EXTERNAL DEVICE ACCESS and given a UNIQUE NAME (this is not the default setting on the receivers)!
* Supported models (HD only): H21, H22, H23, H24, HR20, HR21, HR22, HR23 and HR24. Also supports HR34 /HR44 Genie and C31/C41 clients.
* For advanced users: One receiver can be controlled over 3G, etc. See Website FAQs for details.

Sadly, after 10 years of using this excellent app, I'm uninstalling it. The app works flawlessly and outlasted several physical DirecTV remotes, but alas it's time to leave DirecTV, as so many others have been doing. Thank you to the developer for creating a very useful and well made app, one I used almost daily.

This is one of the best apps that I have! Well worth a few dollars the braids to the pro version! Thank you for the app it's an excellent product! I can't get the volume to work even though I downloaded the add-on. One question I have is they're going to be support for wireless mini genies? That is what I have in my house and they do not turn off because they are not supported buy the app. If not that's okay because the rest of the app works flawlessly!

Volume can be tricky and it's unfortunately rare due to technical hurdles. I'm not familiar with the wireless genie clients, but the original wired clients drop off the network when powered off. You can technically turn them off, but then you can't turn them back on. Not sure why they made them that way! 😄

Near-perfect app, can't do power or volume: yeah, but still a 5. Great display. Cool options. Pro: worth every penny. Responsive developer. He's working on solving the Power and Volume problems, which MUST be hard: Look at the screens. Explore the options. This guy's GOOD! Deserves rating > 4.5. Very few 1* òr 2* reviews were accurate. Almost all low ratings stem from User Inexperience, not app failure--i.e., It's YOU (no offense) not the app. SRSLY. Give it a chance.
