Aerial ABW cabs

The most ridiculous booking app ever. If you schedule a taxi in advance, they will confirm your booking, hold an amount of money on your card, even though they don't know whether they will be able to send you a taxi. So after receiving a booking confirmation with reference number and all, you actually don't have a taxi allocated and you will only find out once that taxi doesn't show up and you call them. Speechless.

Useless app. Paid through the app by card but the taxi driver claimed to have no knowledge of this and advises customers to not use the app. I had to show the driver my mobile banking app to prove the payment had been made to be let out of the taxi. Join the 21st century and get a decent app that can actually accept payments properly. ABW are still stuck in 1992 it seems. City Cabs have a working app at least, wish I had used them in the first place.

I booked a taxi and was told it would arrive an hour after booking. 20 minutes later I get a call from the company saying that they have cancelled it as their drivers have finished for the night. For a supposed 24 hour a day company, the service is shocking. Obviously not caring about anyone apart from those based in Edinburgh City Centre. The company has gone downhill since Capital Cars have taken over. Absolutely not bothered about the customer base who had been established for over 30 years
