The engine that runs the search is so bad at anticipation it is so frustrating. When you are trying to get a number for a hospital and tire shops show up in the search it begs the question how much did you pay for this terrible engine? The problem is the search engine not a particular number. The algorithm needs to be more intuitive. On Google you haven't got your search finished before it's an option below with billions of things to find than a phone number.

In response to your follow-up, Mysask411 is a site-specific search engine. We are a digital version of the Saskatchewan phonebook, the drop down that appears when performing a search is a manually curated list based on our available site content unlike Google's dynamic search algorithm. Thank you.

I liked it better when you could add the contact to your address book. It does more things now but sometimes simple is more effective. I wish cell phones were listed - i don't know why not! So many are giving up their landlines that you can't look up phone numbers any more.

Hi Catherine! We've removed add to contacts, but with one click you can keep track of businesses and people in one place with add to favourites. Plus, we made room for share a note and save to calendar features. We hope you find these tools just as helpful! As for the cell number, it's likely the number you're looking for isn't listed with us yet!

I really like the app. Only four stars because the default search is in businesses, and I always have to switch to person. Also the opening screen isn't the search bar and it's a strange process to get to the search area.

Hey Amanda, so glad you like us! Hm, that doesn't sound right - you should be able to search right from the home screen, where it reads "What can we help you find?" or the yellow search icon in the centre. If you email dw@directwest.com we'd be happy to help troubleshoot with you.
