How did so many other people rate this garbage so highly? Are ya'll like related to the designer? 1993 state of the art graphics and interface. Pound on a unit 27 times in a row and it MIGHT let you select it. Play French and watch 2x uberpowerful allied units swarm the field as your sluggish gaullics crawl across the feild. Play Brits and somehow you have <50% measly Dutch units that get rolled over by a tide of superfast French. I literally counted the turns as a French player need to reach a key objective. FIVE minimum. Somehow when you play allied, the Emperor's boyz are there in only THREE! Magic? Painfully obvious nerfing and buffing do not a fun game make.

Whilst not as polished as its sequel, Quatre Bras is not to be overlooked. The core mechanics and gameplay are wonderful. They will be readily familiar to fans of Napoleon's Triumph, but are quite easy to grasp for those who aren't. Add in the varibles -- the early start, summoning the guard cavalry and D'Erlon's -- and you've got a game that never gets old. Don't be afraid to throw down the money on this one. You won't be disappointed!
