Calling this a “calculator” undersells it—it’s a frontend for an extremely powerful computer algebra environment. However, it’s still a great calculator for the basics, and because it’s so powerful, it will take you just about anywhere you need to go. The recent UI change is great: it looks better and makes all that functionality easier to work with. I’m looking forward to future improvements.

Latest update makes it look better but function worse. The only issues I had was w/ settings displaying results as abbreviated power of or having to change them to get fractions & back to get decimals. Too often extended menu popping up when I pressed too close to that button. Latest update has me having to repeatedly press the same buttons & the app is now sluggish in responding which never happened before or w/ any other app like the keyboard so this isn't an issue with my device.

Works perfectly, and the fact that it's open source just makes it that much better. One very tiny annoyance though is that the color of the output text doesn't change when you change the theme, so it can be hard to see on the dark theme. That's such a minor thing though, and it's still such a good app that I'll gladly rate it 5/5
