Together with your university, we create a safe space for you to connect with all the other new students. Perhaps even before university starts, it's great to have someone to chat with the first day at campus.
Start exploring your new university community with Differ. Just create your profile, and the social chatbot Bo will introduce you to some students that might share interests with you. We know starting the first conversation can be awkward, so Bo will also help you break the ice.

The institution running my systems development degree use Differ, and encourage us to sign up. After 5 minutes use I found it's so full of bugs and frustrating to use I think the developer should be the taking the degree course. It won't even scroll a conversation. That one thing makes it impossible to use.

I met my best friend through this app. As a Uni of Leeds student we're promoted to download differ to foster new relations at uni. It is a little confusing to use but you are allocated a person to talk to randomly. I managed to meet Siffy. We ended up bonding so well and now we always refer to this app as how we met. After meeting him I never went back on the app. But for argument's sake it definitely is an app I'll remember with a smile.
