The icons are wide and legible, the keyboard is either alphabetic or « qwerty », and the user is guided throughout its use.

- the installation of all the applications from the Elementique Senior application suite (no additional cost)
- to choose Elementique as homescreen. On some devices, this may involve manual adjustment.
- the use of a Gmail address
Some adjustments are necessary to use the weather forecast or the simplified keyboard. Please check our website.
Elementique Senior is compatible with most Smartphones and Tablets using Android 6.0 or higher

Great app! Although I'm not a Senior (16-years-old), I really adore the simplistic layout of Elementique. The one and only thing I can think of that needs some fine-tuning, is the Internet browser. EDIT: Changing this to 4 stars because the app becomes unusable without paying to own it permanently. Great app, but I wouldn't buy it. If it were free, I'd always use it.

EDIT: Every users have 6 weeks to fully test all the Elementique apps (without adds). After that one can buy the 'License app' to continue using Elementique. No monthly fee, just a one shot buy for life time usage ;-)

Purchased for my 92yo Mum who is a new Android user because she needs an app for a captioned telephone service for the deaf. 1. Great launcher for her. There is no way she could use Samsung's Launcher. She would be accidentally swiping up and down and wondering why the screen keeps changing! 2. Lack of customizability is understandable to keep things simple, but being deaf the Phone and Radio tiles are useless to her and it would be nice to be able to choose other apps to go there. 3. She can use the simplified email client, which is great. I don't think she could use the GMail app. Can't send to multiple recipients which is a shame. I think there are some issues around inline image handling in messages. Overall, a very well thought out simplified interface that suit's my Mum very well.

Interesting. I installed it because it looks similar to a senior computer that my MIL almost bought. (computer was a rip-off and we told her not to buy) She would probably love this interface, but might need a new phone to install all the pieces. I will keep this in mind. Wish I knew how to install apps so they were part of the default software. I can see her accidentally uninstalling the phone, and being very confused.

Thanks for your review. 'Elementique Senior' prevents unintentional installation of 'itself': using the 'Elementique' interface, 'Elementique' apps are not listed hence they cannot be uninstalled (of course they can still be uninstalled using Android Settings)
