Use the Enphase Installer Toolkit to completely configure an Enphase System with your Android device:

- Connect to the Envoy Communications Gateway over a wireless network for faster system setup and verification

- View and email a system status summary report to confirm a successful Enphase System installation

- Pair the Enphase Installer Toolkit with a bluetooth-enable scanner to build array layouts, scan microinverter serial numbers and sync the information with Enlighten monitoring software (requires a Socket Mobile CHS series Apple Certified Bluetooth scanner).

Seems like you need 2 or 3 different logins to do what a self installer needs it to do. I have requested tech support but seems like the tech just don't know how to fix the problem. Every time I request a report all the inverter output is 0 which is wrong. When I use Enlighten app the inverters output shows correctly. This is frustrating. Update, got a call from a senior tech but no dice, was more worried about his personal schedule, said it would call back a week ago.

There is a newer version of the Toolkit, but when you fire it up it says it is "Beta" software. That means it isn't considered finished, but is put out for testing. This older one seems to provide more functionality, but be prepared for a less than helpful interface, which when it tries to help seems to be more "in the way" than helpful. Like other Solar PV companies, Enphase makes EXCELLENT hardware for solar PV, but the software side of things is sub par.

The worst app for solar systems and the most expensive gateway. As an installer and integrator with 6 years of experience on different systems I have had more problems and I have spend more time using this app on every installation. It is really frustrating. It seem developers focuse only on fancy look and not on making it simple and reliable. Many end users do not want to monitor the system because most of them do not understand electrical parameters, they only care on the electrical bill.
