The scripting language PHP stands for “Personal Home Page Tools” or “PHP Hypertext Preprocessor” and was designed to create dynamic websites and web applications. Since Rasmus Lerdort developed the scripting language, many versions of the language have now been published. A variety of extensions make PHP one of the most powerful tools for developing modern web applications. Well-known content management systems such as WordPress or Joomla as well as shop systems are based on PHP.
The PHP course is aimed at ambitious beginners in programming. No special prior knowledge of programming is required.
The course teaches the properties and elements of PHP as well as solutions for typical tasks in practice. After a detailed presentation of the PHP language elements and their application, typical structures of modern websites and web applications are presented and tested in practice using dynamically generated forms. With object-oriented programming (OOP), you will also learn advanced programming concepts and also learn how to access MySQL databases using PHP scripts.
