Salva una vita

The app Save a life is made by the Ministry of Health and FNOMCeO (National Federation of Physicians and Dentists), with the collaboration of SIMEU (Italian Society of Medicine EmergenzaUrgenza) and SIMEUP (Italian Society of Emergency Medicine Urgency and Pediatric).

The app Save a life provides the knowledge base to address health emergency: recognizing the different situations, understand the circumstances in which you need to call for help, knowing what to do while waiting for the ambulance and especially what not to do, avoiding inappropriate behavior that may result in negative outcomes.

The app Save a life it includes tabs on major emergencies for the adult and child, videos and photos about the first aid techniques, useful numbers and a quiz to test your ability to speak properly. This information is very useful because in an emergency every minute counts, but are not a substitute in any way for a doctor or other health care personnel to whom we must turn.

The app Save a Life it is the main instrument of a wider communication project that includes the website www.appsalvaunavita.it and a brochure. All tools use simple language to refer also to those who have special medical skills.

The app Save a life is available for free download on smartphone and tablet platform iOS and Android, to be read at any time the need arises.
