This app serves as an informal tourist guide to the Twin Cities Minnesota, in addition to containing general information about the Winter Carnival and other festivities. Just because Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis has passed doesn't mean you can't relive all of the festivities and planning that went in to it! Though the data in this app is for Winter of 2018, the app will remain relevant for years to come!

This app includes a variety of information related to the big game - Super Bowl LII - featuring the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles, on February 4th, 2018 at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN! You can find all of the nearby attractions, including Saint Paul, in an intuitive and customizable map! The Super Bowl celebration coincides with the annual Winter Carnival in neighboring Saint Paul, meaning even more events and entertainment! Not planning to go to the game? Get an overview of the festivities from the comfort of your home and see what you'll be missing!

With GPS-based geolocation and an address geocoding search, this is all you need to find your way around the world-class metropolis that is the Twin Cities! With multiple base layers and data categories to toggle between, you can map out your ideal experience and only display the information you are interested in while filtering out the rest!

Data sets include restaurants, food vendors, hotels, parks, parades, museums, breweries, parties, theatres, bus routes, light rail routes, skyways, highways, road closures, parking areas, points of interest, events from the Super Bowl, Winter Carnival, and Bold North, concerts, lodging, and so much more! Well over 1,000 points are included!

Choose between five basemap options: A topo map, a black and white road map, aerial imagery, a watercolor map, or a simple static overview. Tiles can be manually downloaded and stored for offline use for a given map view, reducing data usage. The app will work just fine in airplane mode, even without downloading basemap tiles!

Major events and concert schedules are listed on the Info page, along with interactive buttons that center the map on a given location and load applicable layers. Couple this with the GPS function and address search to easily find any event or attraction! Discount codes for specific venues are available here as well!

Because event plans are constantly changing, hyperlinks to all relevant festivities are included so you can rapidly access the most recent information without needing to surf dozens of websites. To avoid the need for frequent app updates as plans change, the latest information will be added dynamically upon loading the map. This information will not load when the app is used in airplane mode.
