I have had little trouble using the app on my Pixel 6a so far, but trying to update my payment card has been a nightmare. It keeps on saying I have tried too many times and to try again in 24 hours. Awful.

You might want to check your latest update as it crashes every time you try to log on (both manual and fingerprint). App is good otherwise, a bit slow at times. EDIT: Flagged to store staff and recommended to uninstall and install again. It worked and I can access the app, however that might be because is no longer requesting a passcode/fingertip scan.

I have found the app easy to use, straight forward and sometimes with great rewards. They would not force you to put your payment details on there if you don't wan to which is much appreciated. On the other hand if you connect your payment method to the app, it is very easy and convenient as you both collect points and pay just with a simple code scan. Overall, very happy with the app.
