In the presentation of the Bible CEI (2008) it is said that "the existing translation has been revised according to the original texts (Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek), according to the best editions available today" (cfr. The Holy Bible. Introductions and Notes, Conference Italian Episcopal, 2008, p. 7 and note 5).
