vuKNOB is a fully fledged musical sequencer studio for your smartphone, or tablet device! Designed for Expert Knob Twiddlers and Inspired by sound trackers of the past, vuKNOB takes music production in to the portable future.
- Select from a large number of machines for generating sounds and effects
- Load WAV sample files
- Low latency support ***
- Export sequence to MIDI
- Export to OGG (Requires NEON enabled CPU)

- Pitch bend using accelerometer
- Twiddle with knobs on the go!
- Multiple users using companion app vuKNOBnet! Twiddle the knobs with your friends!
Machines include classics like the silverbox, and the DX7 FM Synthesizer! It also includes effects like reverb, compressor, delay, flanger, low pass filters, high pass filters, stereo separation and vocoder.
*** Low latency support is only available on devices that has implemented Googles low latency drivers, or devices supporting the Samsung Professional Audio API. Confirmed working are the latest Nexus series devices and Samsung Galaxy S6.

With a total lack of musical ability you too can create weird, odd but perfectly proper music. There is the ability to create background tracks in a souped up tracker interface that is so simple my cat, Kisu, could use it. Then you get to warble and squeak your main melody by twisting knobs and drawing wildly in some touch to sound contrivance. I think it's brilliant! So should you if you don't want to appear a joyless, dreary dullard.

I can see that there are possibilities with this app, however it seems as if this is nothing more than a template for a future daw setup. needs polishing, and a better overall navigation and tutorial... not to mention samples of actual instruments......

This dev did a very bad job on the piano roll. Lacks innovations and ideas to make the piano roll usable.

Is there another app with a piano roll that you would use as a good example? Maybe be inspired by. I'd love to get some hints!
