About this app

**Note that WiFi scanners providing detailed information can not work without location permission granted and location turned on. This is a google policy. This app does not actually use such information.

This application will display all the signal strengths of all the available WiFi access points in your vicinity. Signal strengths are given in dBm. The MAC address or BSSID of the access point is also displayed.

This application is a tool used for debugging WiFi networks. It can be used to track down WiFi networks. Can be used to find the best signal in your home or office etc... This application will run on almost all Android devices with WiFi capability, like phones and tablets.

A straight forward and simple interface makes reading easy and the application easy to use.

Got ads, but no data, just kept scanning. OK, their response, "The app needs an update to remind the user to grant location permission and to turn location on." No thanks, they don't need my location data. I don't want to be their product.

The app needs an update to remind the user to grant location permission and to turn location on. If you do those two things then it will show the list of access points and their data. No WiFi scanner android app will work on new devices these days if location permission is not granted and location not turned on. This is a google policy not ours.

Does exactly what they said it did. Perfect for solving what access points were called and where they were located. Solved a problem that needed this. :)
