About this game

Codex of Victory features an extensive story-driven, single-player campaign that tasks you with building and commanding a hi-tech army of drone vehicles, tanks and robots.
The campaign offers an exciting mix of real-time base building, global strategic planning and turn-based combat. Traveling between planets and territories, your sole task is to stop the Augments - a weird race of transhuman cyborgs driven by a desire to ‘liberate’ ordinary humans from the limitations of their wholly organic bodies.

Collect blueprints, build factories, research centers, workshops, laboratories and other facilities, to prepare for battles ahead. Build your army, upgrade and customize it and then deploy onto a battlefield to fight the relentless enemy.

- Turn-based tactical combat
- Story-driven campaign
- Real-time base building
- Multiple units with upgrades and modifications

It is rts and a risk like game combined. It's pretty good, was a challenge to understand the system to overpower to enemy on a grand scale. You do don't get much time to figure things out because of the constant invasions so it's interesting. The game has a lot of upgrades to create different attack forces. You can really change your units up a lot. You simply have to figure out what works.

I've been hesitant about buying this, it's been on my wishlist for a while. I'm glad I did! It's a refreshing mix of base building and turn base strategy. The turn base strategy reminds me of advance wars in all the best ways. The game requires forward thinking and thinking ahead, you build your units before battle meaning that if you don't plan out you can lose the game on premise of no prep/units. Worth the price for the game. Just wish there was a skirmish mode AI v human if nothing else.

I just finished the first arc and I'm very impressed. It combines battlefield turn-based-strategy, base-building, and map movements. It's a little like a mobile SciFi Total War game. All this AND no micro-marketing? AWSOME!! small note: I use an LG G6 and the unique aspect ratio makes some things display differently. The most notable being that overlay windows get the top cut off but so far it has caused minimal interference with my enjoyment of the game.
